ON behalf of the Communities Against Pollution committee I would like to thank all the people in Boroughbridge and the surrounding district who have supported the campaign to fight AV Ogden Holding Ltd's planning application for an industrial waste transfer site in Milby.

To have the application withdrawn less that 24 hours before the planning meeting is a great result for Milby and the surrounding area.

A public meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 22 7.30pm at The Crown Hotel, Boroughbridge to discuss the next step.
